My Story of Hope

I came to Radiate Coalition in 2016 when I was 17 years old. At that point in my life, I had already experienced more loss and hardship than most people face in a lifetime.

My mother passed away when I was five years old, and after losing her, my siblings and I went to live with our grandmother, where we experienced abuse. When I was 15, my father also passed away, leaving me feeling even more vulnerable. Later, I lived with my older sister, but I continued to experience emotional, physical, and psychological abuse.

Everything began to change when the director of an organization where I volunteered learned about my situation and brought me to the ministry of Radiate Coalition. It became a safe place where I found hope, guidance, and the opportunity to start a new chapter in my life.

I had already accepted Christ as my Savior, but it was in the restoration home of Radiate Coalition that my relationship with God truly grew. I was surrounded by people who loved and encouraged me, taught me God’s Word, and helped me build a strong foundation of faith. One verse has stayed with me ever since:

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33

Because of the love and support I received, I was able to continue my education. I first completed high school and have now also graduated with a Technical Degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Care. None of this would have been possible without the encouragement, scholarship, and generosity I received from Radiate Coalition and the faithful people who chose to invest in me and my future.

Today, my greatest passion is working with children, especially those with neurodevelopmental differences. My dream is to open my own childcare center where children can receive quality early childhood education and families—especially those in underserved rural communities—can find the support they need. I also hope to continue my education by earning a university degree so I can serve even more children and families.

Looking back, I see God’s faithfulness in every step of my journey.

To everyone who supports Radiate Coalition, thank you! Your generosity has given me so much more than financial assistance. You gave me hope when I felt hopeless, encouragement when I wanted to give up, and the opportunity to dream again. Because of your kindness, my life has been transformed, and I know that God is using your generosity to change the lives of many other young women just as He changed mine.

Thank you for believing in me and for making stories like mine possible.
