What Makes Our Care Different?
When a girl comes to us, we go beyond simply providing shelter. We provide comprehensive medical care, including extensive blood tests to assess nutritional deficiencies. We ensure they receive counseling to heal from trauma, as well as safe housing, nutritious food, and all the essentials—clothing, personal items, and more—that most of us take for granted.
But our care doesn’t stop there. We provide eye exams, private school education, and a protected environment so the girls can learn and grow without fear of being exposed to further harm. Private schooling ensures they are safe from the risks of public exposure, allowing them to heal in a setting designed specifically for their unique emotional and educational needs.

The Cost of Daily Life vs. The Cost of Saving a Life
We often spend money on things without thinking twice, but consider this: a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks costs around $5.50. That’s enough for many of us to enjoy on a whim, but for the girls we support, even small contributions make a lasting impact.
Think about a more routine expense—toilet paper. A pack of toilet paper costs around $15 for a 24-roll pack, and a household of four typically goes through a pack every two to three weeks. Now imagine a home with over 10 girls. That’s at least four packs per month, adding up to $60 just for toilet paper alone. These everyday necessities—things we often overlook—add up quickly in a household like ours, where over 10 girls are relying on us for their care and survival.
The Crisis They Face
The girls we support come from heartbreaking circumstances. The statistics paint a grim picture:

These statistics highlight the urgent need for comprehensive care. Many of these children are failed by the system that was supposed to protect them, and without intervention, their futures are bleak. What It Costs to Provide This Care
The level of whole-person care we provide is transformative, but it comes at a cost. Here’s what it takes to care for just one girl each year:
- In Honduras, it costs $15,000 per year to provide comprehensive care—including medical, educational, emotional, and daily living support.
- In India, the cost is $2,000 per year.
- Here in the United States, due to the higher costs of living and services, care for just one girl ranges from $8,000 to $10,000 per month.
These numbers may seem daunting, but every dollar counts. When we think about the small, everyday expenses we have—like a latte or a pack of toilet paper—we realize that even modest contributions can add up to make a huge difference in the life of a girl who has been rescued from trafficking.
